Sony has announced January 2018 PlayStation Plus Free Games, and it is an improvement over last month’s lineup. For January will also be getting another PlayStation VR game. PlayStation Plus members will start the new year with some amazing titles to add to their library. We are getting one AAA RPG, a Dark Knight story, and an arena shooter for VR. Plus a unique mix of free games, that will hit all the supported PlayStation platforms including PS3, and the Vita.
Here is a list of the games that will be available starting January 3rd:
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
- Batman: The Telltale Series
- StarBlood Arena
- That’s You! (PS Plus bonus – PlayLink)
- Sacred 3
- Book of Unwritten Tales 2
- Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness (Cross-Buy with PS4)
- Uncanny Valley (Cross-Buy with PS4)
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the highlight of the upcoming month being a 2 years old AAA title and a game of the year nominee. But PSVR owners appreciate the inclusion of a new VR game in the lineup, StarBlood Arena. StarBlood Arena is an FPS in which the player gets to pilot a Mech and shoot other Mechs. Also, Batman: The Telltale Series is a great addition, being a different take on the Batman franchise and yes players will be receiving the complete season. Also, for each episode, there are multiple endings so it would be fun spending time trying to unlock all the different ones for each episode.
Lastly, PS Plus players will be getting a Warframe Booster Pack II Bundle to help them get started on the adventure in the Origin System.
The Booster Pack includes:
- 100 Platinum
- 50,000 Credits
- Akmagnus Dual Pistols
- Akmagnus Obsidian Skin
- 3-Day Affinity Booster
- 3-Day Credit Booster
- Dragon Mod Pack
This will be available until February 13, 2018.
January’s lineup is definitely an improvement to last month’s lineup of PS plus. The inclusion of an AAA title and a new PSVR game is a great example of PlayStation listening to the fans complaints and addressing them.
